Nike Juniper Trail 3 - the running shoe for the terrain

@christopher is currently back in the running game, and not just on asphalt. He's heading out into nature, which will also please the urban-socialized dachshund Piefke. Soon the two of them will be chasing through the forest together - I'm not sure who's ahead. What is certain is that the Nike Juniper Trail 3 is the perfect silhouette for the project. We took a closer look at the model and share the advantages and differences to conventional running sneakers with you.

NIKE JUNIPER TRAIL 3 - READY FOR ANY TERRAIN

Trail running is very different from normal jogging, as it takes place off the beaten track - on forest trails, over roots, scree or muddy ground. This is exactly what the Nike Juniper Trail 3 is made for.

Its outsole consists of an all-terrain compound rubber with distinctive lugs that provide secure grip even on wet or steep surfaces without being too heavy on asphalt. Comfort is provided by a full-length ComfiRide midsole, which offers a soft ride and additional stability thanks to a flexible midfoot strap. To ensure that even longer runs remain comfortable, the tongue and collar are padded. The toebox also differs from conventional models, offering a little more room in the forefoot so that the toes are not constricted on uneven terrain and can be better distributed. This promotes stability and softens impacts from roots or stones.

The upper is made of durable mesh in combination with robust overlays, allowing the shoe to remain breathable while still offering protection. Reflective details ensure visibility.
