Westside Gunn, in collaboration with Griselda, Fashion Rebels, and Saucony, is launching an eye-catching new colorway of the Grid Jazz 9. The Griselda x Fashion Rebels x Saucony Grid Jazz 9 “Awesome Gods” combines animal prints, bold colors, and numerous details inspired by the Griselda universe. The release is scheduled for August 28, 2026—fittingly on what’s known as Westside Gunn Day. You’ll find all the key details in this post.

THE SAUCONY GRID JAZZ 9 “AWESOME GODS”

Westside Gunn is known for his unique style and his love of distinctive sneakers. For the Grid Jazz 9 “Awesome Gods,” he drew inspiration from, among other things, Jeremy Scott’s work for adidas as well as the iconic animal prints from past atmos x Nike Air Max collaborations.

The look is just as wild: cheetah, zebra, cow, and other faux ponyhair patterns are scattered across the upper. Pink and yellow accents are featured on the Saucony logos, the tongue, heel, and toe box. Metallic elements and varied textures further contribute to a particularly multi-layered look.

What makes them special: Due to the varying arrangement and craftsmanship of the materials, no two pairs are exactly alike. This gives each model its own unique character. The design is rounded out by the Griselda scorpion logo on the heel, the insoles, and the hangtags. Leather laces in a moccasin style complete the distinctive look.

The Griselda x Fashion Rebels x Saucony Grid Jazz 9 “Awesome Gods” has the style code S71047-5 and will be released on August 28, 2026. The release date coincides with Westside Gunn Day, celebrated in Buffalo, New York.

The sneaker is available in unisex sizes and retails for $225. The release will be available via the Saucony EQL Raffle, Westside Gunn’s website, and select retailers. More information about participating stores is expected closer to the release date.
