Weekly Rotation Pt. XIV

It's Monday, July 27th. It's the first time I've managed to finish an issue of the Weekly Rotation on time. A bit of pride and a pat on the back is called for, don't you think? By now we are actually already on the 13th issue. I didn't expect it to be so well received. I'm really pleased! After the last feature with the Vegan Sneaker Connection, it's my turn again this week with lots of ASICS, a few models from adidas and a Magista has also squeezed in - but it's best to see for yourself... :) :)All pictures of this issue can be found on the following pages!Monday: ASICS Gel Saga Orange BlazeThe Orange Blaze, sometimes also known as "Infrared", is still one of the strongest colorways of the Gel Saga for me in the "general releases" section. Simply a bomb shoe that I simply wear far too rarely. This has to change, because the Orange Blaze Gel Saga is still an absolute eye-catcher. Tuesday: adidas ZX FluxJoa, somehow I've been grumbling about the ZX Flux again and again lately. Nevertheless, the silhouette keeps landing on my feet. It's still one of the best sneakers from adidas for everyday wear. I don't think anyone can argue with that. I particularly like the blue of this one. Way too fresh! Wednesday: ASICS X Overkill Gel Sight Desert RoseAh yes, what can I say about the ASICS Gel Sight Desert Rose. For me, the best collabo of the year so far. We still have a few months to go, but something really good will have to come along to knock the Gel Sight Desert Rose off its throne. I particularly like the oriental pattern. It makes me feel like I'm in 1000 and One Nights :D Thursday: ASICS Gel Lyte V 50/50 PackThe Gel Lyte V is, together with the Gel Lyte III Premium Nubuck, the strongest general release from ASICS this year. These are the stuff collabo dreams are made of and are in no way inferior to some of this year's specials. An absolute buy recommendation for all those who don't yet own the 50/50 Pack. Friday: ASICS Gel Lyte V OGI still remember exactly when I saw the first retro of the Gel Lyte V at Afew. It was love at first sight and the colorway is still my absolute favorite. So annoying that I gave away my two spare pairs, because the sneakers are now being traded for disgustingly high prices. Man, what a bummer. :( Saturday: Nike Air Footscape Woven MagistaThe Footscape sole is one of the most comfortable soles in sneakers for me. Only the Boost technology can't be matched by anyone else. All in all, a pretty blatant shoe that many people don't like at all. I think it's great, especially because it's so eye-catching. Just something different and a real UFO! It has to be! :) Sunday: Y-3 Floral BoostThe Y-3 Floral Boost is my latest addition and only arrived last week. By now, I'm really into these fashion sneakers and the combination with the Boost sole is just great. Of course, the Y-3 Floral Boost is actually just a Pure Boost for expensive money, but since I got the sneaker for a damn good price, I can get over that quite well. So folks, that's all for this week. Next week we'll continue as usual with the 14th edition of the Weekly Rotation. Whether with or without the feature, I can't say at the moment. But it doesn't matter, because I'm out and about almost every day photographing my own bots anyway, and my personal favorite from this issue was the ASICS Tiger Gel Saga Orange Blaze. It's just nice to have them on my feet again.
