My name is Christopher, and many people know me from my sneaker blog Deadstock. What started as a passion for sneakers and streetwear has become an integral part of my life over the years. For me, it’s always been about more than just shoes. It’s about culture, a unique lifestyle, and a passion for things I stand behind 100 percent.

But besides sneakers and streetwear, there’s always been another passion in my life: fitness and training. The desire to bring my own vision of a gym to life has therefore been with me for a long time. At some point, it became clear to me that I didn’t want to pursue this passion merely as a hobby. I wanted to build something of my own, bring my ideas to life, and create a place where people can pursue their personal goals.

That’s exactly how Era Gym came to be. After Deadstock, I decided to turn my second passion into a career and open two gyms of my own right away. For me, this is a special step because it allows me to create something that combines my personal interests with my entrepreneurial work.

Of course, I’ll also continue to keep you updated on all the exciting releases—Deadstock will remain your go-to platform!

My vision: A gym that suits me

When I build my own gym, I obviously don’t just want to set up exercise equipment and fill a space with dumbbells. I want to create a place where I’d enjoy spending time myself and where other people feel comfortable, too. For me, the equipment, the atmosphere, and the overall design all play an important role.

To me, a good gym must offer the right mix of functionality, motivation, and a well-thought-out concept. Whether someone is just starting to work out or has been lifting weights regularly for years, everyone should have the opportunity to work on themselves and pursue their personal goals.

This is exactly what I aim to achieve with Era Gym. I’m bringing my own vision to the table, paying close attention to the details, and working to create a training environment that meets my standards. It’s not just about opening yet another gym. I want to bring my own vision of a gym to life and give that vision a name with Era Gym.

Two locations, one shared vision: Era Gym Saerbeck and Lichtenau

With Era Gym, I’m taking the next step and bringing my vision to life at two locations. Both in Saerbeck and in Lichtenau, a gym is taking shape that is part of my own project. Both locations embody my vision of what modern fitness training can look like.

It’s important to me not only to develop a concept but also to implement it consistently. From planning and design to equipment, there are many decisions to make. That’s exactly what makes the setup so exciting for me: I can contribute my ideas and watch, step by step, as they turn into real training facilities.

If you’d like to learn more about the two locations, you’ll find all the details here:

Both gyms are an important part of this new chapter for me. I want to build something that works in the long term and gets people excited about training and fitness.

How much does a membership at Era Gym cost?

Of course, my own gym should impress not only with modern equipment and flexible training hours, but also with attractive terms. That’s why, to celebrate the grand opening of Era Gym in Saerbeck and Lichtenau, we’re offering special deals for anyone who wants to join the community.

You can currently take advantage of a one-time offer at both locations! You pay only €29.90 every four weeks instead of the regular €39.90. Plus, you can work out with us through our partners Hansefit, Wellpass, Urban Sports Club, Sport.navi.de, and Wellhub.

Why I’m charting my own course with Era Gym

With Deadstock, I’ve already experienced what it means to build something from my own idea and develop it into something independent. I’m bringing that experience with me to my new project. Of course, sneakers, streetwear, and fitness are two different fields. Nevertheless, for me, they share one thing in common: it’s about authentically living out a passion and creating something you truly believe in.

I associate this very aspiration with Era Gym. I don’t just want to run a gym; I want to bring my own vision to life and develop a project that bears my signature. The fact that I’m setting up two locations at once makes the task all the more exciting.
