Reebok Slam Dunk Contest in Fulda

On Friday, I visited Fulda for the first time. The occasion was the Slam Dunk Contest organized by Reebok, to which some store owners and bloggers were invited. The contest kicked off at 12:00 noon in a showroom that had been specially set up for us. Unfortunately, I had some problems with the journey (traffic jam!!!) and arrived much too late. But that wasn't so bad, because I was still able to catch a glimpse or two of the new Reebok collections, so you can forget about photos of the new models and CW's at this point, because of course they weren't allowed ;-) But that's absolutely understandable, after all, you don't want to drop the bombshell(s) too early. But I can promise you that we'll be seeing a lot from the Reebok brand over the next few months. There are some really nice things coming, but I can't and don't want to give too much away at this point... Next on the agenda was the basketball tournament. After we had all "uniformed" ourselves, we got started quite quickly. As I had come as an individual, I naturally needed a team partner. I played together with the lovely Olli from Titolo. Or...well, to put it another way: I passed him the balls and he hit them. There! :D You've probably already noticed on my fan page that we weren't the most successful team...but then again, the finalists around the guys from afew and Beastin (all former NBA legends) are simply machines on the court. You don't really do anything, you just look stupid and marvel... :In the evening we went on to the Löwen. The team around the owner Felix had already provided us with delicious snacks and drinks at lunchtime, and in the evening they really stepped it up a notch. Top food, good drinks, pure hospitality - that's all I need to say, and as you can imagine, the whole evening more or less escalated. I think one word is enough to describe the whole evening: HANDGRANATE! Those things really knocked my socks off (and I was wearing blacktops!!! :D ). That was really amazing! The absolute highlight was the guest appearance by Baba Haftbefehl, who really got the place boiling over. Some of us were really happy about the surprise, there's no other way to put it... ;-) There's not much more to tell, except that I'm still very sore...it's Sunday now and I'm still having problems walking...these sore muscles are really inhuman! :D Last but not least, I would like to thank you very much for the wonderful evening. Especially the Reebok team and the guys and girls from 43einhalb and the Löwen did their utmost to give us all a great time. You really succeeded, there's no other way to put it!
