Nike Air Presto Flyknit - Release

The Nike Air Presto became known as the "T-shirt for the foot" after its launch 16 years ago. This was mainly due to the unusual sizing, which until a few days ago was specified in sizes XXS to XXL. This has now changed, as Nike now offers normal sizes in the online shop. In my opinion, this was the right move, as many consumers actually had problems with sizing, and the shoe attracted attention at the time mainly because of its colorful advertising campaigns. Eye-catching names such as "Trouble At Home" or "Unholy Cumulus" were not uncommon and were featured in eye-catching advertising campaigns.

Now, more than 15 years after its introduction, the Presto is undergoing a complete remake and will be launched in early May as the Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit.

There will be six different colorways at launch: All White, Black, Mint, Yellow, Blue and Orange (Crimson?). I personally think the first three colorways are really strong and will certainly be the most popular. Blue is of course also fine, while yellow and orange are not for me at all. The colors are just too bright for the Presto. The shoe is striking enough on its own. I'm curious to see how the Ultra sole will look on the Presto Flyknit, because I'm not really a big fan of the sole. I'm still a bit skeptical.

The confirmed release date for the Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit will be May 5th. You can find out the exact release information and times a few days before the release in my release calendar, but if you're up for it, you can still have a little fun with the Nike Air Presto iD until then. I'm still celebrating my "Hawaiian Sundowner", for example. I'll be wearing it in a big way this summer. :D
