adidas Samba XLG Core White - Latest Pick Up

The origins of the ADIDAS SAMBA

The adidas Samba, originally designed as a soccer shoe, has had a fascinating history on and off the pitch since the 1950s. Originally developed to provide better traction on slippery surfaces, the Samba enabled precise movements with its characteristic rubber sole. But its success story extends far beyond the sport of soccer.

Thanks to its iconic design, the unmistakable serrated 3-Stripes and the T-shaped overlay in the toe area, the Samba became a cult sneaker decades ago. After a period of less attention, however, the silhouette has made an impressive comeback since 2023 and is absolutely on trend again. And now adidas is bringing the Samba with a new twist: the XLG Samba. Which fits perfectly into the Y2K trend.

The NEW SAMBA XLG

The new, chunkier SAMBA XLG stays true to the original look, but integrates influences from two different cultures: soccer and skateboarding. The characteristic XLG elements and the lateral pattern give the shoe a new shine, while the thicker midsole ensures first-class comfort. The Samba thus joins the Superstar XLG and the Forum XLG and the Campus 00s.

SO CHRISTOPHER WEARS THE XLG

@christopher has opted for the white Samba XLG. The color palette is exactly the same as the OG and can therefore be combined extremely well. In addition, @christopher wears Levi's vintage jeans, a Uniqlo zipper and a Vetements x Alpha Industries bomber jacket.
