adidas Prophere - latest pickup

This week Friday is the day. adidas is launching a completely new silhouette with the Prophere, which is intended to meet the ever-increasing demand for chunkier sneakers such as the Ozweego or the Wave Runner 700.I've already been to the official launch event in Berlin and had the opportunity to talk to my colleagues sneakerb0b and sixnine to create their own content for the adidas Prophere. You have already been able to marvel at the result on Instagram and Facebook over the last few days.Of course, I also noticed that some of you made comparisons to the Huarache again. It was no different with the NMD back then, because as far as I remember correctly, there were the same comparisons and discussions in the various forums and groups. In the end, however, we all know how the story turned out, because the NMD easily became one of the most popular shoes of the year last year. Personally, however, I always find the discussions very interesting and like to listen to your opinions. To be honest, I also had problems with the adidas Prophere at first. I now wear the shoe regularly, which is mainly due to the fact that I simply adore the topic of "chunky sneakers" or "dad shoes". I really like wearing the Raf Simons Ozweego, for example, and I don't think I'm the only one in our little scene to do so - I can understand that many of you still prefer very narrow and pointed silhouettes with a good shape. But if you take a look at the following pictures, you'll quickly realize that the Prophere also caters to the shape fanatics among us. Of course, the midsole of the adidas Prophere is still very distinctive, but in terms of shape, there's really nothing to complain about with this shoe. The upper of the Prophere is made of mottled Primeknit, which can easily stand up to comparison with the Human Race models. The Human Race NMD also uses a significantly stronger material than the first Glitch Camo models, for example. But that's a good thing, because otherwise it would actually be a bit cold in winter. The stripes on the side of the shoe are made of suede and have already been used on some older models from the EQT family. The concept of the Prophere is rounded off by a suede heel construction and the striking outsole, which is being diligently discussed by you in the groups.

HOW DOES THE ADIDAS PROPHERE FALL?

You definitely have to be careful with the sizing, because I can wear two sizes of the adidas Prophere. The US 11.5 is wearable, but slightly too big for me. The US 11 fits me perfectly. I was also able to try on the size US 10.5 at the time, but it was a little too tight in the toe area.
