Last night, the event for the release of the new adidas Prophere took place in Berlin. My colleague sneakerb0b and I traveled to Berlin for the event and got the chance to ask rapper ahzumjot, who was also the main act at the adidas Prophere event, a few questions about himself and his connection to this whole sneaker thing. At the same time, you can find some pictures from yesterday's event on the 37th floor of the Park Inn Hotel at Alexanderplatz in this post. You can find out more about the release of the adidas Prophere in the next few days here on the blog or directly at adidas.Enjoy the interview:Ahzumjot, nice to meet you! Maybe you'll start by introducing yourself to the people who don't know you yet.I'm 28 years old, zodiac sign Cancer (laughs). No, I'm a musician, I produce my own music and shoot videos, which I now also edit myself. I actually do a lot, but I'm mainly a rapper, so your main activity is rap? German rap?exactly! How did you get into making music? When did it all start for you? I started rapping at the age of 15-16. That must have been around 2004-2005. I've always been interested in rap, but it really started with the internet. I was on an internet forum back then, which funnily enough wasn't about music at all, but about video games. At some point we got into a fight there with our own lyrics...and that's how it started (laughs). What kind of music did you listen to back then? I didn't listen to German rap until very late in life. I only really became interested in German rap when I started making music in German. And then I quickly listened to less and less because I was making more and more of my own German music...(laughs) You're interested in sneakers yourself. Do you have a favorite shoe? Is there something you wear particularly often at the moment? Actually, I would say that I've been wearing older models a lot lately. More along the lines of Stan Smith, Gazelle...adidas Spezial. I prefer classic sneakers, but I also like to wear an Ultra Boost from time to time. But I tend to be more of an "old-schooler." How do you start your day in the morning? What do you choose first? Outfit first and then shoes, or the other way around? I drink all my coffee and smoke a cigarette first (laughs).Sure...but then you have to put something on, don't you? I think I always choose the outfit first and then the shoes. It's very rare that I'm in the mood for a particular sneaker and put together an outfit to go with it. This sometimes happens with the adidas Ultra Boost Multicolor from KITH because the shoe is simply very eye-catching. But to be honest, I think a lot less about my outfit than many people probably think.Part 2 can be found here tomorrow.https://www.instagram.com/p/BcTCKLXgIrS/?taken-by=deadstocksnkrbloghttps://www.instagram.com/p/BcTEPFSldI1/?taken-by=sneakerb0b
