Salehe Bembury New Balance 990v2 - first look

Soon we can look forward to a new New Balance from Salehe Bembury. He recently revealed his renewed collaboration with the brand. We are very happy about this great news! The New York designer has a truly exciting and impressive resume and was even named Shoe Designer of the Year in 2020. After his time at Yeezy, he worked at Versace as vice president of sneakers and men's footwear. Not too long ago he even designed his own Crocs - the Crocs Pollex Clogs. After letting his 2020 contract at Versace expire, he further cranked up his activity at New Balance. Well known designs from him are the two colorways of the 2002R and some models of the 574 Yurt. THIS IS WHAT THE NEW BALANCE 990v2 WILL LOOK LIKE

The new New Balance 990v2 comes in vibrant and floral colors. The panel is in a light pink suede and is interrupted only by small mesh inserts in the shade of coral. The pink of the laces looks like a blend of the two hues and harmonize perfectly with the rest of the sneaker's look. The midsole is also a similar, but slightly more muted coral, perfectly rounding out the New Balance 990v2. The N logo is a bold purple, which is also found on the trim of the toebox and the 990 branding on the tongue. A really very successful design in our eyes!
