A release that has been classified as a Quickstrike is released in limited quantities at selected retailers. In this case, it is a wider drop than Hyperstrikes. The term is associated with Nike and represents special releases. In recent years, the term has become somewhat outdated in the sneaker scene, as there are many new faces at the start. Among old hands, however, the so-called Quickstrike is still a household name.
