Another colorway of the Nike Cortez arrives this week. The Nike x Stranger Things Cortez 79 OG Collection will excite many.In the summer of 1985, several transport vehicles loaded with special products left the Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, on their way to several locations in the USA. Unfortunately, some shipments never arrived at their destination. The missing vehicles all had one thing in common: they were the last to be seen on surveillance footage in Hawkins, Indiana. Nike was troubled and confused and never reported the missing deliveries for fear that something supernatural was behind them.After 34 years, clues about the missing deliveries are emerging piece by piece. It is clear that something hidden, dark and sinister is brewing. Fortunately, some of the missing shipments were found. Inside were iconic Nike styles: the Cortez, Blazer and Air Tailwind '79. These classic silhouettes from Nike were introduced with matching apparel and were originally intended for the Hawkins High Athletic Dept. They feature green and orange color combinations and Hawkins High logos. Each shoe is topped off with Nike-inspired original packaging and special edition pins.
