Originally released exclusively in Japan in 2011, the Air Jordan 5 Tokyo was released to coincide with the opening of the Jordan Tokyo 23 store in Shibuya. The 2025 retro version remains true to the original: a bright yellow suede upper meets gray accents on the tongue, mesh inserts and eyelets, while black details on the laces, heel and midsole provide contrast. The embroidered Kanji logo on the heel, which symbolizes the number 23 and gives the shoe its unmistakable character, is particularly striking. Rumor has it that two versions could be released - one with the classic Jumpman logo and one with the coveted Nike Air branding. We'll stay tuned and keep you posted!
