2023 has been quite a busy year for Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance, and it doesn't look like things are slowing down any time soon. Although they have just released a brand new collection of 550s and 650s, Teddy Santis and his team are already ready to launch their next collaboration with the footwear brand.
This time, Aimé Leon Dore is revisiting the New Balance 996 and dressing the silhouette in colors that are not dissimilar to past MADE in USA colourways. However, the construction of the two pairs is slightly different as they forego the pig suede and instead use layers of smooth and tumbled leather. These materials alternate between white and black, with the heel counter and tongue in cream. A touch of red is also present, although only along the woven label co-branding.
