The Nike Air Max 1 “Keep Rippin Stop Slippin” was first released in 2008. This year it will celebrate its comeback with the 2.0 version. The Air Max 1 design was part of Nike's “Greatest Hits” collection, along with the Nike Air Stab “Runnin' Gunnin” and the Nike Air Max 90 “King of the Mountain.”
This time the Nike Air Max gets a new look. It comes in a Pearl White, Black, Vast Gray and Cedar colourway. The mesh base is gray while the suede overlays are in pearl white. Black accents are found on the laces and plush suede sections, with touches of red cedar on the mini Swoosh located on the toebox. There is “Keep Rip'n Stop Slip'n” embroidery on the insole and heel.
