At least in terms of career, Travis Scott has had very strong years so far. A Netflix documentary, various Jordan collabs such as the Jordan 6 and the Jordan 1 and the current single “Highest In The Room” picks up where Astroworld left off. There are crowds of kids all over the world celebrating Cactus Jack and consuming whatever the multi-talent from Houston brings. In addition to the Travis Scott merch, this also includes everything from the Nike x Travis Scott collaboration.
Since the first Air Force 1 with Travis Scott came in 2017, various other Nike x Travis Scott models appeared from the joint collaboration. We have compiled a small overview for you here, which shows you all previous models from the cooperation between Nike and Travis Scott.
In total, Nike and the rapper released three collaborations on the Air Force 1 Low. The first and the second are very similar. Only the colorway differs. Both feature a canvas upper with 3M detailing and interchangeable swooshes. While one is white, the other comes in Sail which is a light beige shade. The whitest Nike Air Force 1 Low Travis Scott launched in 2017 and the “Sail” in 2018, and this year the Swoosh and Jack brought an Air Force as well, though it doesn’t resemble its predecessors at all. The patchwork upper mixes different patterns and materials, and in addition to the usual tongue, there is another one that covers the lacing if you like, but is also removable.
The first Jordan silhouette Travis Scott had a hand in was the Air Jordan 4 Cactus Jack. The sneaker comes with a blue suede upper, red lining and black details and was launched in 2018.
A year later, Travis Scott tried his hand at the icon, the legend, the start of a legacy – the Air Jordan 1 Cacuts Jack. He mirrored the Swoosh and combined black, brown and white together. The result, of course, was surprisingly good and it flew off the shelves. Shortly after, a Jordan 1 Low also arrived. Although the silhouette is actually one of the less popular shapes from Nike and Jordan, it was also sold out immediately.
The Jordan 6 hasn’t exactly been among the most popular silhouettes in recent years either, but with Travis Scott’s co-sign, that kind of thing is changing very quickly. The Jordan 6 Cactus Jack had an olive green suede upper, black or infrared details and a small pocket on the collar.
Besides the sneaker, you could also buy matching Nike Cactus Jack Apparel, which also went over the counter like sliced bread.
Considering the success of the collaboration, it is not likely that Nike and Travis Scott will stop working together in the near future. According to speculations, more releases are to come in 2020 and among other things, a Nike Dunk is also to appear. The silhouette from the 80s is often sported by Travis and it can be assumed that Cactus Jack himself, will soon be spotted in one. We at Dead Stock are celebrating the Dunk and are excited to see what Travis Scott will do with the sneaker. What materials will he use? What colorways are in store and what will the matching apparel look like?
