The history of the Nike Dunk High

The history of the Dunk is impressive, both on the street and on the basketball court. In the late 80s, the shoe made its first appearance in Hollywood. But it wasn't until the skateboarding era, i.e. the 90s, that the Dunk High really became popular and was one of the most popular sneakers of the time at its peak. After the Wu-Tang Dunk was released in 1999, other strong collaborations paved the way for the future of the silhouette.

What's the difference between the Nike Dunk High and the Nike Dunk Low?

We think the difference is obvious, because compared to the Dunk Low, the High simply has a higher upper, which is intended to protect against ankle injuries. In terms of sizing, you can use exactly the same size as the normal low-top. Only the Nike SB Dunk, with its padded tongue, needs to be taken half a size larger.

Where can I buy the High?

While the first drops were always sold out incredibly quickly, it is now much easier to get a High. Of course, the shoe is regularly released in the Nike online store, but retailers such as JD Sports or size? are also often involved.
