ZX 1000 Flaming Moes - first pictures
The Flaming Homer was invented by Homer himself one evening when he had to distract himself from his in-laws' holiday pictures and had no beer in the house that evening. In this article, we explain why the model is suddenly called the ZX 1000 Flaming Moes.
This extremely offbeat concoction, with a minimal hint of cough syrup, turned out to be one of Homer's greatest personal achievements of the entire series.
The generous friend that he is, Homer lent the recipe to his close friend and pub owner Moe Szylack when his pub was in turmoil due to poor beer sales. Moe subsequently made life difficult for Homer by stealing the recipe, passing off the cocktail as his own Flaming Moe creation, keeping the secret ingredient, and turning his bar into one of Springfield's hottest spots.

When Moe looks to secure a lucrative deal with a corporate booze tycoon, Homer gets understandably angry at his sneaky sidekick's unjustified success and derails the whole operation by revealing the secret ingredient to the assembled crew. That is the story of the adidas ZX 1000 Flaming Moes, which unfortunately has not yet been confirmed with a date.
Now to the shoes: while the adidas ZX 1000 has no real connection to the episode just mentioned, the brand colors the silhouette in the colors of the purple-colored drink and adds a flaming overlay on the midfoot, a Flaming Moe's logo on the tongue and a fantastic lace lock.
As already mentioned, an official release date for the ZX 1000 Flaming Moes has not yet been announced, but we will be happy to deliver it to you in the next few days.
