As you all probably noticed via our Dead Stock App, we were in Paris last week with StockX.

They celebrated their European launch exactly one year ago and took this as an opportunity to organize the first StockXchange. The whole thing was curated by Sarah Andelmann. For those who don't know her: She co-founded Colette, one of the most relevant concept stores in the world, together with Colette Rousseaux. In this case, it was about focusing on the products, people and stories that have had the most impact on our culture. The two business partners always tracked down trends before anyone knew about them. For example, they had Virgil Abloh T-shirts before Off-White was even created. The store was always full and even people like Karl Lagerfeld were regulars there.

We were invited to the launch of the exhibition and were able to examine many grails and be inspired by interesting panel talks and workshops. And of course there was also a bit of a party ;)

StockX has already announced further StockXchanges and other events in Europe. So we can be excited.

StockX fees - new rules

In addition to the series of events, new features have also been introduced on the platform. The algorithm has been adjusted so that it now also matches buyers and sellers from Europe in order to significantly reduce StockX fees (processing fees) on the buyer side. But that's not all, as work is also underway on seller fees, so we can expect reductions here too. In addition, all fees are now included in the offer price. This means that when you store on StockX, you will see the final price straight away and there will be no additional costs or StockX fees later on. You can immediately anticipate how much the sneaker will ultimately cost. You can tell that StockX listens to its users and is always finding solutions to optimize the buying and selling experience. Really great!

If you've been inspired by our stories to look for your grail, you should definitely check out StockX.

And here are a few more pictures from the event!
