Visiting the ZX Flux event in Berlin
As many of you will have noticed, I was once again in our beautiful capital on Wednesday. The occasion was none other than the upcoming release of the ZX Flux model range. adidas rented a great location in Berlin-Mitte especially for this event, which was "spruced up" accordingly for the invited guests, and the first impression on entering the location was impressive. A great mix of bricks, parquet flooring and futuristic elements created a great atmosphere among the invited guests. You could really tell that adidas had put a lot of effort into this event and the ZX Flux model is based on the ZX8000, which incidentally is celebrating its 25th birthday this year. It is therefore understandable that one of the most successful adidas models is enjoying a particularly high level of attention this year. The aim was to do without a lot of material and to keep the ZX Flux minimalist in order to adapt it to the present, but in this case minimalist does not mean that the shoe is boring. Quite the opposite, because the different color, print and material variations allow adidas to customize the shoe. The flagship store pack is particularly eye-catching. In this pack, the one-piece upper is dressed in aerial photographs of the cities of London, Berlin, New York and Moscow. I also really like the print pack and the tie dye flux. They can really do everything, but I'm sure you'll find that out for yourselves in a moment. adidas is also starting to equip the models with different soles. The ZX Flux will also be available with an adizero sole, but I have to admit that I've known the ZX Flux for a long time. I had already seen one or two pictures at some of the stores I work with, but I have to admit that I didn't expect such a variety of ZX Flux models and designs, so it's best to take a look at the attached photos and see for yourself. True ZX fans won't be able to avoid this shoe, and I'm sure that many other "non-adidaslers" will soon be picking up a pair of striped shoes too. I will provide you with more detailed information in separate posts, and special greetings go out to Bassy from Sneakyberlin. Just like last time, we had a great evening, even though I unfortunately had to leave a little too early. If you want to read Bassy's report, you can take a look HERE, and Bob has also written a few lines. A big THANK YOU also to you Betti and Christina Elisa, it was nice to be with you again! :)Also many greetings to the guys ( and girls ;) ) from Zapateria Vienna, I hope we have more time together next time - I could have done with two or three more beers...
