Weekly Rotation Pt. X
The 10th edition of my Weekly Rotation is here. So we're already celebrating something of an anniversary.
This time it's my turn again with last week's sneakers. In my opinion, it's another nice colorful mix with lots of good bots.
I'm already working on this week's edition. Hypebeast level 1,000 - I can already reveal that much. It's going to be good! :D
For now, I hope you enjoy my Weekly Rotation from last week.
Monday: ASICS Tiger Gel Lyte V OG
Freshly back from the Laced Up in Munich, and of course still with the same shoes on my feet. One of my rarest shoes and an absolute gem for me. Unfortunately, the tiger stripes are crumbling a little and I'll have to re-stick the sole soon. Apart from that, the Gel Lyte V OG is still in good shape. It has to be, because it was still completely NEW when I bought it a few months ago.
Tuesday: ASICS Tiger Gel Kayano EVO
The Kayano EVO, a good but inconspicuous contemporary. A perfect beater for the coming summer thanks to its upper. I'm sure I'll be seeing it on my feet more often over the next few weeks. Let's see how it performs then. Hopefully I'll still be able to maintain my high opinion of the thing. :)
Wednesday: adidas Originals mi ZXFlux
My ZX Flux Forefoot Split is now the second shoe I've accessorized with this colourway. I love the blue on the toebox, simply because it works so well with the rest of the shoe. A colorful toebox is certainly nothing new, but somehow it always looks good. I'm happy with the result.
Thursday: New Balance 998RR
A shoe that I've unjustly neglected in recent weeks. The Made In USA models can simply do it, the material and workmanship are great - but in my opinion they're just too warm for summer. I feel the same way about the current GL-III collabos. Too much "premium" is sometimes not soooo good! :D
Friday: ASICS Tiger Gel Saga Kill Bill
The Kill Bill is still one of the best Sagas for me. I'm a big fan of the model and I think I've watched the movies a dozen times. Of course, I celebrate the thing, I can't resist it at all. It's very annoying that the Gel Saga Kill Bill is sometimes sold so cheaply. The shoe is actually a prime example of how the industry sells us a story! :) Normally, the hype surrounding this piece should be much greater...
Saturday: Puma Mirage I OG
I actually spent the whole day wearing my adidas Ku'damm today. Unfortunately, the sole came off on the way back from Dortmund, so I switched to the Puma Mirage I OG from Puma. Nice piece, but the Mirage II is somehow even better. Now all I need is a Mirage III, then I'll be satisfied. :)
Sunday: adidas mi ZXFlux
Joa, the story behind the shoe is kind of annoying. The idea for an All White didn't come from me, but exactly two weeks after I received my package, the inline release came. Kind of stupid, because suddenly quite a lot of people had it at the start. I don't think it's as bad as it seems now, but then I could have waited. Nevertheless, my miadidas ZX Flux is a great summer shoe that you can wear all the time. And that's what I do! :)
I hope you enjoyed last week's post too. Feel free to let me know which shoe is your favorite. Whether here or on Facebook, it doesn't matter to me.
