Krefeld has a new sneaker store

My good friends, acquaintances and certainly everyone in Krefeld will have noticed by now: We finally have a sneaker store in our city again, and last weekend, the official opening took place on Königstraße, which of course I couldn't miss as a long-established local. So I made my way back home from Dresden in the late afternoon to enjoy a few glasses of Frangelico, Tranquini and lovingly prepared burgers and fries to help celebrate the launch.as a Krefeld native, I am of course delighted to have a place to go here again. As a native of North Rhine-Westphalia, I'm certainly spoiled with good sneaker stores, but it's still nice to have the opportunity to meet other sneaker lovers in my city and talk shop. It's definitely something I've missed so far, and it's not easy for new stores to position themselves in the highly competitive sneaker market at the moment. There are many stores that have been around for years and have made a name for themselves through good work. Then there are the challenges from the brands, which a store naturally has to overcome. I don't think it's all that easy and of course it has to evolve. Nevertheless, I'm sure that the SneakRs store in Krefeld has a long-term future. Not least because I know who pulls the strings there. :)In any case, the opening was a small indication to me that there is already a small sneaker scene in Krefeld. To be honest, I hadn't expected that at all. I thought it was all the cooler that the hard core partied long into the Saturday evening, and on Sunday at lunchtime, the draw for the competition continued, with the winners scooping some cool prizes and goodie bags. Sneakers, Stance Socks, the Praise Mag... simply the full program! The rest of the day was spent just chilling, taking some on feet pictures and enjoying the good weather. All in all, it was definitely a successful opening, where I had a lot to laugh about despite my hangover from the day before.
