Saucony Shadow 6000 Premium - latest pickup
The Shadow 6000 PRM is only the second Saucony I've owned. In addition to this model, I also own a "general release" of the Saucony Grid, which is actually my favorite Saucony silhouette.I honestly don't know the reason why I own so few Saucony's myself, but compared to other brands, the American sporting goods manufacturer probably falls a bit short for me personally. But ok, it's not so bad....you don't have to celebrate everything to the ground, but it was completely different with the Shadow 6000 PRM, which I raved about for the first time a few weeks ago on my fanpage. Up until that point, I had only seen pictures of the Shadow 6000 online, but when I had the opportunity to try one on at District47 in Krefeld, and above all to take a closer look, I kind of had to have them... ( I already know why I should avoid sneaker stores as a rule ) What I personally particularly like about the shoe is the butter-soft leather of the upper. It's really really good and makes quite a statement. However, I'll leave it up to you to decide whether you have to add the "Premium" suffix to the name of the shoe - after all, this is standard for other brands such as New Balance.Another plus point, which to be honest I only noticed when I got home, is the color coordination between the lining and the midsole. I'm really not a fan of yellowed or "vintage-like" soles ( OG's are the exception ), but I really like the interplay. The rather inconspicuous color tones are accentuated by the blue Saucony logo on the tongue. Apart from that, the Saucony Shadow 6000 PRM looks a bit "bottom", which is probably mainly due to the thick sole and partly also to the shape of the model. The Shadow 6000 PRM is not a narrow runner, that's for sure. Size-wise, there's not much to consider with the Shadow 6000 PRM, I wear a US11.5 like in other shoes ( Flux, Integral, Gel Saga, Flyknit Racer ).If you want to take a closer look at the Saucony Shadow 6000 PRM, you'll find it at 43einhalb or Overkill . However, I would advise you to take a look at District47, where you can get 15% off all items with the discount code MYDISTRICT - including the Saucony! You have my recommendation for the item, because even if the Shadow 6000 PRM isn't the most eye-catching of its kind, it was definitely a purchase that was worth it.
