Reebok Zig Kinetica - latest pickup

This week saw the launch of the new Reebok Zig Kinetica, designed by Garbstore founder Ian Paley. We were able to test the model before the launch and are delighted to be able to present the Zig Kinetica to you on our blog.

The concept of the new silhouette makes quite an impression at first glance, because with the Zig Kinetica, Reebok combines a lifestyle silhouette with the energy-returning zigzag sole and the most modern upper materials ever used by Reebok.

LIFESTYLE MEETS PERFORMANCE

The existing technology made it easy for Paley to take on the model. For example, he was able to focus entirely on the colorway of the Zig Kinetica, the process of which he describes as follows:

"Too often, great shoes are ruined by boring colors. When Reebok approached me for this collaboration, the technology was already there. So it was very important to me to deliver a relatively complex color scheme for the shoe. I was inspired by the energy return of the sole, which led me to depict how kinetic energy flows and is released, based on the color gradient of a thermal image."

The result of the collaboration is easy for us to describe, because we were also very positively surprised by the Zig Kinetica. The model is very light and fits well on the foot, which is certainly also due to the clasp that runs over the instep. But this brace is not a must, as you can see in our pictures. If you don't feel like it, you can remove it in a few simple steps. We thought the combination with the laces was really great, so this little gimmick is essential for us and will of course remain on the shoe.

How does the Reebok Zig Kinetica look?

In our eyes, the Reebok Zig Kinetica is "true to size" - so you can take your normal size. We laced the shoe very loosely in our pictures and still had a good fit. If you have any further questions, please get in touch!

Where can I buy the Reebok Zig Kinetica?

Of course, you can find all retailers in our release calendar for current sneaker releases. In addition to the colorway presented here, Reebok has already launched two other variants, which you can access via the following button. With a retail price of just under €180.00, the Kinetica is in the upper price segment, which is logical when lifestyle and performance are combined.
