Tamio Iwaya , the creative mind behind the well-known design studio Graphersrock, is known in Japan for his extraordinary artwork, which can best be summarized under the working title "Cyber Punk meets Techno Culture". Now the designer has turned his attention to the PUMA DISC to transfer his synergies of cyber punk, techno and high tech to the successful silhouette from Herzogenaurach. This week's release is apparently the first drop in a longer collaboration, because if you take a look at Tamio Iwaya's Instagram account, you'll immediately notice further images of another well-known Puma silhouette. The PUMA DISC is now being launched in two different versions: a black colorway for the modern-classic cyber look and a white version with bright highlights in green, grey and pink. Both models are made of shiny leather and are decorated with the words "Tokyo Japan" and the GRAPHERSROCK logo.I personally have the problem with the Disc that the shoe is often just far too tight for me. It doesn't matter whether the shoe is laced or not, it just pinches without end. Fortunately, my Trapstar is fine. I assume because of the thick leather. It's actually a shame, because Puma has always delivered good releases with the DISC in the past and the official release date is May 23rd. As soon as I have information about the stores, you'll find it as usual in my release calendar.Via Puma
