Piet Parra x Vans - new collabo at the start!

Piet Parra x Vans stands for creative freedom, color and an artistic approach that has clearly stood out from classic sneaker collabs for years. While the Dutch artist is best known for his work with Nike, Vans has also proven time and again over the years how well Parra's signature fits its own silhouettes. As early as 2009, the collaboration ranged from Era to Half Cab to the Sk8-Hi - and the next chapter will now follow at the beginning of 2026 with the Parra x Vans OTW Old Skool 36.

The Old Skool 36 is a deliberate choice. In recent years, the silhouette has been back in the spotlight thanks to experimental variants such as the "Chanel" look or the "Pearlized Pack" and is currently considered one of the most exciting models in the Vans cosmos. Parra picks up on this moment and reinterprets the classic with its unmistakable style. Characteristically curved, overlapping suede patches run along the sides of the upper, even replacing the otherwise striking Vans SideStripe. In terms of color, the shoe is a mixture of aquatic blue and green nuances as well as warm, almost fiery accents - a color spectrum that is immediately associated with Parra. The design is complemented by playful line graphics and specially designed, co-branded packaging.

Overall, the look is strongly reminiscent of earlier Parra Vans models, in particular the Half Cab, but remains independent enough to put the Old Skool 36 clearly in the spotlight. The combination of classic Vans DNA and artistic intervention ensures that the sneaker looks less like a simple update and more like a consistent further development of the previous collaboration.
