Overkill Women Careaux Event- Recap

As I mentioned on Friday in this post, last Saturday I went to Berlin for a day at Overkill Women. The reason for this was the release event for Puma's collaboration with Caroll aka Careaux. The Overkill team took the opportunity to fly in the illustrator and graphic designer to have a look at the collection while enjoying healthy snacks and cool drinks. So I was able to ask my questions straight away and find out which shoe she particularly likes and where exactly the inspiration for all the colorways came from. Since many people didn't dare to speak English with Caroll and were too shy, it was even easier for me to get the information haha. Her favorite shoe is the Puma x Careaux Basket in the bright colorway. From the perforations to the gold detailing on the tongue and heel and speckles on the sole, I have to say it's one of the strongest shoes in the collection in my eyes. Although it is very minimalist and the illustration is only on the insole, the silhouette is very strong and very comfortable to wear. A good combination would be the sweatshirt, which was also available on site. Another shoe that was very popular, and not just with women, is the Puma x Careaux Blaze of Glory in a bright, but also pink colorway. To my astonishment, the guys from Overkill thought the pink one was much stronger! #pinkisthenewblackAll the shoes were created with great attention to detail and I have to say that the decision wasn't easy for me either, but I went for the Basket.
