ONITSUKA TIGER & ASICS Aztec Pack - Release info

The Aztec culture was the inspiration for the Aztec Pack, which includes the ASICS lifestyle models GEL-LYTE III and GEL-EPIRUS as well as the ONITSUKA TIGER running classic X-CALIBER and the completely new BURFORD model.

All four models feature the typical tribal patterns and symbols - based on the design ornaments of the historically valuable South American culture.In each model, the characteristic warm shades of bottle green, burgundy, beige and dove grey are present in the form of the tribal patterns and form a perfect interplay with premium canvas and suede. The release is scheduled for early March, on March 1, 2014 to be precise. In my opinion, this is an attempt to upgrade the Onitsuka Tiger brand, which is perfectly legitimate. I already really liked the Shaw Runner and I'm excited to see what else we can expect from Onitsuka in the future, but I personally like the Gel Lyte III the most of the models presented so far. To be honest, I also miss the Gel Saga, which would have been a nice addition to the Aztec Pack. The RRP for the models starts at 110€ and the release is only supposed to take place in selected stores. So far, I only know of

Overkill in Berlin

and

Animal Tracks

in Hamburg. But I'm sure there will be a few more to come.
