Nike x Liberty Summer Collection 2015

With the 2015 summer collection, Nike and Liberty are taking a trip back to the 70s. The collection features the rare Merlin print from 1972, which was originally developed by Liberty for a silk scarf.The geometrically arranged Merlin pattern consists of playful circles and irregular squares and can now be found on new and familiar Nike footwear and apparel silhouettes. Bright colors, striking prints and unusual designs give the Nike x Liberty Summer 2015 collection an unmistakable aesthetic. The collection combines the past with the present - the result is a very unique, unmistakable look, celebrating the return of the Nike Air Rift. In summer 2015, this extravagant silhouette and Liberty's Merlin print merge to create a unique sportstyle-inspired sneaker. In addition to the Nike Air Rift, the collection includes other footwear models: the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra, the Nike Tennis Classic Ultra, the Nike Cortez, the Nike Zenji and the Nike Air Max Thea.The Nike x Liberty Apparel collection consists of the Nike QS Liberty Windrunner, the Nike Liberty Tee and the Nike Women Liberty Cap.The Nike x Liberty Footwear and Apparel Summer 2015 collection will celebrate its launch on April 23 exclusively at Liberty London. From May 4, the Nike Air Rift x Liberty will be available at Nike.com/sportswear and at selected Nike Sportswear retailers.
