Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 - Europe Release
We're all a little bit back to the future. So it's no wonder that sneakers with automatic lacing make us gasp. Nike has been working continuously on this innovation and today puts the former Nike Air Mag in the shade. We have already been able to follow the first steps of the new Nike HyperAdapt in the past. A sneaker that laces up all by itself, regulates an optimal fit and provides an unprecedented interactive foot feeling - what more could you want? Tiffany Beers, Senior Innovator at NIKE Inc. and technical project manager, explains the principle of the sneaker of the future very easily: "When you put the sneaker on, your heel will hit a sensor and the system will automatically tighten. There are two buttons on the side for tightening and loosening. You can adjust it until it's perfect. "However, not only the simple sneaker lover was considered in the development, because a quick micro-adjustment is an innovation that is second to none, especially for athletes. Especially in competitive situations, feet are exposed to enormous stress. So forget about excessive pressure from tight bindings or slipping out due to loose laces. With the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, a precise, consistent and personalized binding is possible, and as you've probably noticed, the launch has already taken place in the States. But now it's getting serious for us too: you will soon have the opportunity to secure one of the coveted spots for the personal experience in the Nike Store Berlin in the new Nike app and purchase the right to buy the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 in two different colorways on October 5th. By the way, you can find the Nike app regularly in your App Store.
