Nike Air Max 90 Red Velvet - Release notes

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Nike Air Max in style, Nike has released another anniversary edition of the Air Max 90 alongside the Nike Air Max 90 Cork.

The Nike Air Max 90 Red Velvet comes in a plush upper in burgundy-colored velvet in this release. Including the laces, which are made of the same material! :) The classic infrared can be found on the tongue, heel and midsole, as well as the side panels.

Personally, the shoe is a bit too much for me. The Nike Air Max 90 Cork is a bit blatant, but somehow I still think it's quite good. The Red Velvet, on the other hand, is really tough fare and probably more for the girls among us. To be honest, I don't even know which sizes will be available, but I could well imagine that Nike will release the complete sizerun.

Officially, the release is planned for April 4th. However, the online store size? has already announced that the Red Velvet will be released together with the Cork am, which would be on March 30. Let's see what that brings...
