Yesterday evening, I stumbled across the first images of the Nike Air Jordan Max atmos Pack on the Internet, which we all decided on together last year when it came to the re-release of the Nike Air Max 1 Elephant. OK, together might not be quite right, because I chose a different shoe back then. But it doesn't matter, because I can also live with the Elephant. But I didn't know that the 1 is supposed to come out together with a 3 Jordan.... and to be honest I'm a bit surprised.sneakernews.com also has no information on whether the Elephant will also be available individually or only in a pack. If the shoe would really only be available in a pack, I would find that extremely sh...eid. I would really like to have the Air Max 1 Elephant, but I can't do anything with the 3-pack Jordan. Especially not with that ugly outsole and the slightly yellowed midsole. To be honest, I was also expecting Nike to bring back the Air Max 1 Elephant completely true to the original. I really can't understand the Jumpman on the sole at all. What was Nike trying to do? To bring runner lovers and Jordan fans together? To let the (Nike) community become one? :) I can already see fans from both camps joining forces days before the planned release to grab the pack in the size they want. The idea behind it may be quite funny, but there's a bad aftertaste that Nike has once again built such a small catch into the release, and the pack is expected to cost around 400 US dollars in the States. Experience has shown that Nike simply converts one to one, so we can assume that the pack won't be cheaper than 400 euros here in Germany, and I personally hope for higher quantities of the Elephant after the very limited releases of the two Anniversary colorways. I would also love a single release without the Jumpman on the sole. To be honest, I'm expecting that too. The Nike Air Jordan Max atmos Pack would then just be the additional treat from Nike, where the 1 has the Jumpman on the sole. Imagine that the Elephant will also be as limited as the OG Red and the OG Blue. That would be a disaster, especially after the public vote last year.... :)In any case, we're keeping our fingers crossed that everyone will be happy with the Air Max.Here you can find the release overview.
