Nike Air Jordan 4 Pure Money - latest pickup

After I wrote a blog post about the Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid New Love this week, I'm following it up with the Jordan 4 Pure Money.The Jordan 4 Pure Money is my first 4 from Jordan Brand. Normally, when I have Jordans on my feet, I really only wear 1s. However, I wanted to make an exception with the Pure Money because I'm still looking for white sneakers for my summer rotation and I was always a bit worried that the Jordan 4 would look way too big on me. At 189 cm tall, I'm not short, but I think that anything above a size 11 is critical for Jordans. I also have a similar problem with the 3 and a few other models from the brand.My first impression of the Pure Money was definitely really good. Of course, I was also bothered by the pungent smell that crept up my nose after opening the box. But that's now almost normal for many brands, and I looked twice at the finish of the Pure Money Jordan 4 because I've also noticed how long-established Jordan heads have complained from time to time over the years. In my opinion, "all-white" sneakers are always particularly critical, as it's not easy to keep them clean. But my pair looks immaculate. What I personally find really disappointing are the silver eyelets for the laces. I would never have expected that "only" chrome-plated plastic would be used there. I find that really disappointing and, at such a high retail price, inexcusable.In summary, however, I have to admit that with the Jordan 4 Pure Money I definitely have a nice new white sneaker in my collection, which I will be flexing more often over the next few weeks.
