miadidas Stan Smith x adidas 7/8 Pant - latest pickup

In the last few days, I've received quite a few messages about my new miadidas Stan Smith.
Originally, I didn't want to do anything about the shoe, but because so many people asked me about the model, I ended up having to change my mind.
I've had the Stan Smith design ready in my drawer for almost a year. The Stan Smith was part of my miadidas collection, which was supposed to be presented in the adidas online store and be accessible to everyone. Unfortunately, the campaign was canceled and the designs were scrapped. To my great regret!
I got back to the topic at the end of June and decided to order one or two models and at least take a few nice pictures for Instagram. After all, I put a lot of work into the design and thought some of the models were really good.
The Stan Smith is therefore the first model that I "brought to life", so to speak. The upper is made of a snakeskin imitation and is quite soft and comfortable. I kept my Stan Smith relatively clean and only added a few red elements. I was really unsure about the red sole at first, but I'm quite happy with the final result. But I'm sure a blue or green sole would have done just as well. It all depends on your own taste.
The Velcro fastener is probably my personal highlight of the shoe. I've wanted a Stan Smith with a Velcro fastener for a long time and have often been on the verge of snapping up one of Raf Simons' models. Fortunately, I opted for the miadidas Stan Smith because 1. it was significantly cheaper and 2. it's exactly what I wanted. I'm really happy with the reaction, even though I'm aware that I'm going to stand out a lot in these shoes. But maybe that was my subconscious goal? Maybe!

The 7/8 trousers that I wore for this post were presented to you last week. Some of you were unsure about the fit, so I tried to get a little "more leg" in the pictures for this post.
The pants themselves are already large. I normally wear a L, but with these 7/8 pants I had to change to a M. I think the trouser legs are too wide or too narrow, but I can understand the confusion about the pictures from the adidas online store. Maybe this post with a few new pictures will help you to convince yourself of the pants.
Otherwise, I can only advise you to check out the "customizable products" at adidas more often. Some of the options are really nice, especially compared to competitors offering similar services. I will probably treat myself to one or two mi models over the next few weeks and then of course present them to you here on the blog.
