ASICS x size? Gel Lyte III "Tsavorite" - Release info

This Friday, size? will release the first part of the new collabo with ASICS. At first, I really didn't like it, but now that I've noticed that the upper is half made of reflective 3M material, I find the "Tsavorite" interesting and I honestly didn't understand what the name and concept were all about. I'm only now realizing it, because the Tsavorite is just an untreated gemstone...and what do gemstones do?
