adidas Stan Smith x Blue Version - Release January 10th

The Stan Smith sneaker is probably one of the best-selling sneakers. In 1988, 25 years after its release, a total of 22 million pairs of shoes were sold and the Stan Smith was included in the Guinness World Records Book. The shoe is THE beater ever. And although everyone loves the minimalist design of the sneaker, every now and then you are happy about a small upgrade of the silhouette. Some of you are probably wondering: Who or what is Blue Version? We explain it to you. Adidas has an archive that is certainly larger than most. It's packed with classic sportswear silhouettes, iconic materials and signature colors. To celebrate these treasures there is the Blue Version collection. The collection is dedicated to upgrading classics from the archives with a contemporary design. Blue Version - as the name suggests - revolves around one of the brand's most iconic colors: Bluebird. The idea is super cool, as is the implementation. Here and there you have to dig deeper into your pocket, but you also get extravagantly refurbished classics. With the adidas Stan Smith x Blue Version collection comes a classic Stan Smith, a Millecon, the Stan Smith Relasted and Apparel.

THIS IS WHAT THE SNEAKERS LOOK LIKE

We don't have to say much about the classic Stan Smith, you all know him. Except that the white upper comes with a stamped pattern, blue details and off-white sole. The Relasted impresses with a simple and clean look, as we know it from the Stan Smith. Smooth, folded edges and minimal branding. The classic colorful element on the Achilles tendon is black and the tongue says "Adidas Stan Smith" in gold. The design is rounded off with a slightly higher white sole made of natural rubber. The Millecon, on the other hand, revisits the timeless silhouette with more flowing lines and new dimensions. It comes with a black upper, a chunky and wavy white sole and details in red and blue. Very special silhouette, but can be combined really well with the Blue Version Apparel.

THE APPAREL IS INSPIRED BY NIGHTLIFE

There will also be an apparel line. Including hoodies, training pants, shirts and accessories. Key looks include a sequined track top and matching shorts, sequined bodysuit and blue biker jacket.
