adidas Gazelle Indoor Green - Latest Pick Up

@christopher has got himself a new Gazelle Indoor, the adidas Gazelle Indoor Green. It's no secret that we're absolute fans of the silhouette. The new Collegiate Green colorway dropped a few days ago. Check out the pictures below! The Gazelle is currently still available online in all sizes.

The ADIDAS GAZELLE

Similar to many other adidas classics, the Gazelle was not developed specifically for the street. Debuting in 1966, the exact origin of its name remains a mystery to this day, but there is no doubt that this silhouette marked a milestone. The Gazelle was the first adidas sneaker to be made from dyed leather instead of pigmented leather. At its launch, only two colorways were available - red with a sole for athletics and blue with a herringbone sole for indoor use. The red Gazelle became the official training shoe of the West German national soccer team. Over the years, the design of the Gazelle was updated several times, and in 1972 it was given a makeover with a slimmer silhouette. As a result, it not only conquered the sports world, but also found its way onto the feet of icons and superstars. The model quickly became a cult object.

In the early 80s, the adidas Gazelle Indoor was introduced, gaining popularity not only in handball and volleyball, but also in various subcultures such as skateboarding, punk and hip-hop. Although it had numerous fans, the Gazelle Indoor fell somewhat into the background at adidas. But thanks to collaborations such as the one with Gucci and adidas, it was brought back into the spotlight at just the right time.

SO CHRISTOPHER WEARS THE GAZELLE INDOOR GREEN

Since the launch of the Gucci x adidas Gazelle Indoor, adidas has also regularly released new inline colorways. There are currently a few new ones at the start and one of them is the Collegiate Green colorway. And we think it's really nice. The upper of the Gazelle is made of dark green suede, the three stripes and the heel are white, and the design is rounded off with a gum sole. @christopher wears a pair of Levi's jeans and a black hoodie from the new Alpha Industries Ultra Violet collection with the shoe.
