adidas Deerupt Runner - Release notes

Surely you've noticed that it felt like half the sneaker world was out and about in Paris last week. The occasion was the launch event of the adidas Deerupt Runner, which will be officially released this Friday.

adidas presents the Deerupt, another model inspired by the archive with a new look. The grid-shaped grid, which we already know from the adidas Marathon and is intended to evoke modern architecture, forms of urban planning or natural phenomena, is particularly eye-catching.

The grid-like mesh will be known to die-hard adidas fans as the "Dellinger Web". The technology was developed in the 80s and was revolutionary in sole technology at the time. With the adaptation on the upper of the Deerupt Runner, adidas continues to develop the idea from back then and launches a silhouette on the market with the Deerupt, in which the Dellinger Web is used on the upper for the first time.

The adidas Deerupt initially appears in six different color combinations. The statement colorway, i.e. the OG, is the Solar Bird - the mix of the iconic adidas colors Solar Red and Bluebird. Fortunately, there will also be an All White in the first drop, which I personally really like.

The adidas Deerupt Runner will be available from March 22, 2018 for €99.95 at all adidas Originals stores and selected retailers.
