LeBron James is the new Jordan . At least in the cinema. Of course, basketball freaks of the somewhat older generation know what to do with Space Jam. All the younger ones who can't do anything with it either fell asleep or have nothing to do with basketball. Anyway, here you get the first information about the continuation of the cult comedy.

Michael Jordan also won the cinema in 1996 with the Looney Tunes. The film has become an absolute cult and probably still makes Day-One Jordan fans happy.

In 2021, 25 years later, LeBron James takes on the role of the basketball superstar and enters the virtual world of artificial intelligence with his son Dom, played by Cedric Joe. The two are kidnapped by an AI in a video game and must win against the virtual basketball team AI-G Rhythm to get back to real life. Of course, the two are supported by the Lonney Tunes, who already know basketball quite well.

We are definitely looking forward to the long-awaited sequel and are super excited about the result. Space Jam is set to hit theaters on July 15th.
