The boots are made from smooth, black leather and are based on the iconic, chunky Dr. Martens Quad Sole, which is known for its height and durability. At the heart of the designs are Rick Owens' mega-lacing systems: extra-long, pearlescent (or bright) laces that wrap dramatically around the ankle. This Shamanic lacing detail gives the shoe a sculptural, almost performance art-like edge that reflects Owens' industrial and gritty influences.
