One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus Mera Mera

The One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus Mera Mera brings the fiery power of the Mera Mera no Mi from the anime and manga series One Piece to one of Nike's most iconic silhouettes. Inspired by the fire powers of the legendary Devil Fruit, the collaboration combines eye-catching colors with a specially designed upper and numerous details from the Straw Hat Pirates’ universe.

The Nike Air Max Plus Mera Mera has the style code IW1283-800 and is expected to release on September 25, 2026, at select retailers.

Here’s a look at the new collection

The first joint collection from One Piece and Nike is dedicated to three legendary Devil Fruits: the Gomu Gomu no Mi, the Mera Mera no Mi, and the Ope Ope no Mi. For each variant, the Air Max Plus has been adapted to the respective ability with a unique look. The Mera Mera Air Max Plus focuses on the fiery power of the Devil Fruit, which is used in the story first by Portgas D. Ace and later by Sabo.

The colorway features an intense blend of Brilliant Orange, Healing Jade, Kumquat, Vibrant Yellow, Solar Flare, and Enamel Green. The warm shades of orange, red, and yellow echo the flames of the Mera Mera no Mi and give the sneaker a particularly eye-catching look. The Air Max Plus’s signature caging has also been designed to match the theme and blends dynamically into the upper. Contrasting Swoosh details and the specially reimagined Jolly Roger logo on the tongue establish the connection to One Piece.

Technically, too, the sneaker remains true to its original DNA. Tuned Air cushioning delivers the familiar comfort of the Air Max Plus, while the distinctive construction and sturdy outsole preserve the TN’s signature look. This is where the classic Nike silhouette meets the fiery aesthetic of the Mera Mera no Mi.

When can you buy the One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus Mera Mera?

The Nike Air Max Plus Mera Mera is expected to release on September 25, 2026, at select retailers in Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Mexico. A standard release via Nike SNKRS isn’t currently planned for this colorway. An additional release is also scheduled for Australia in October. The release of the Mera Mera Air Max Plus is currently limited to select markets and retailers. It remains to be seen if and when the colorway will also be available in Europe.
