Here’s what the new collection looks like

The first joint collection from One Piece and Nike is dedicated to three legendary Devil Fruits: the Gomu Gomu no Mi, the Mera Mera no Mi, and the Ope Ope no Mi. For each variant, the Air Max Plus has been customized with a unique look to reflect its respective ability. The Gomu Gomu Air Max Plus is all about Monkey D. Luffy’s rubber powers, which give him his signature elastic body.

The colorway features a particularly expressive mix of Space Purple, Atomic Green, Purple Venom, Altitude Green, Light Lemon Twist, and Sport Red. The bold colors give the sneaker a playful look and echo the aesthetic of Luffy’s world. The Air Max Plus’s signature caging has also been reimagined for this collaboration. Contrasting Swoosh details and the specially designed Jolly Roger logo on the tongue establish the connection to One Piece.

Technically, too, the sneaker stays true to its original DNA. The Tuned Air cushioning provides the signature comfort of the Air Max Plus, while the distinctive construction and sturdy outsole preserve the familiar TN character. Thus, the classic Nike silhouette meets the imaginative world of One Piece and Luffy’s extraordinary abilities.
