He took inspiration from references of previous Nike silhouettes while creating a new look that reflected OBJ's personality. "The idea of pushing boundaries, optimizing style, functionality and innovation, I think that's the concept we connected the design to. "The silhouette is inspired by the classic Zoom Turf 96 with traction patterns on the outsole that match the popular Zoom Turf products. The idea of creating a link between past and present is just one of the ways in which Goto and OBJ are pushing boundaries. Other design details of the Air Max 720 OBJ include a multicolored upper and removable logo patches on the tongue.
