The Nike Air Max 90 Premium was designed in honor of the famous Parisian bakers who are synonymous with French cuisine and hard work. The Nike Air cushioning underfoot is softer than a freshly baked brioche and the durable upper features a French flag on one heel and a wheat laurel wreath on the other. "Fresh baked daily" is written on the lining, commemorating those who supply this stylish city with baked treats.

1987 was the birth year of the Air Max range, which featured a visible Air element for the first time. What began as an experiment in cushioning technology quickly developed into a classic on the track - and on the road. Over the years, the design has been revised many times and equipped with new features, but the tradition has always remained.
