Since then, this sneaker has been released in various materials and colorways - establishing itself as one of the most influential cross-cultural icons of the early 2000s. This version comes in neutral tones and is reminiscent of the original ACG silhouette, the Nike Lahar Escape III. An eye-catching graphic on the tongue combined with unique color blocking on the laces is a direct nod to its adventure-hungry predecessor.

1987 was the birth year of the Air Max series, which featured a visible Air element for the first time.
