With the Nike Air Max 1 City Pack London and the Amsterdam colorway, two real boards are coming to the stores! The colorways and details are really strong.
The Air Max 1 has been with us for over thirty years now. The shoe looks back on an eventful history and continuous development over the past three decades. The innovative design by Tinker Hatfield from 1987 and its numerous successor models continue to exert a major cultural influence worldwide. And now, in 2020, a brand new City Pack is being released. The pack pays tribute to the two most influential "Air Max" cities of London and Amsterdam with their Air Max 1 DNA.
The Air Max 1 "London" was inspired by London's street culture and architecture. The muted tones were inspired by various classic colorways of the Air Max, which are still very popular with the youth of London today. The mesh upper retains the classic design of the original from the late 80s and the sporty look for today's trend-conscious city athletes.
The return of the Air Max 1 in its original shape was a complete success for Nike and actually just showed the masses how big the fanbase of the model still is.

The official release date of the Nike Air Max 1 is next week, on March 19, 2020 to be precise. The release starts at 09:00 in the stores listed here.
