This week, the Nike Air Jordan 3 Fire Red, a new colorway of the beloved Nike Air Jordan 3, will release in local sneaker stores and international online stores.
With its debut in 1988, the original Air Jordan III changed the trajectory of Michael Jordan's legendary sneaker collection just in time for his breakthrough '88 season. Michael Jordan wore the exotic-print AJ III, featuring the first visible Air element, for his first MVP and Defensive Player of the Year honors. The season had some challenges in store. His opponents demanded a lot from Michael Jordan, but he responded with all his strength.
Wrapped in white, tumbled leather and featuring the classic AJ III color blocking, the new orange and blue colorway pays tribute to the heated encounters between Michael Jordan and his rivals. In one game, Michael Jordan not only had to contend with his opponents, but also with a virus. This is commemorated by a tag on the inside of the tongue bearing the date "04/08/88". In this game, despite his illness, he put in an unforgettable 40-point performance against one of his archrivals. This AJ III is a tribute to one of his greatest performances.
