After the very successful release of the Jordan 3 Animal Instinct, another colorway follows this week with the Nike Air Jordan 3 Animal Instinct 2.0.
With the famous elephant pattern for the Air Jordan 3, Tinker Hatfield changed the world of animal prints forever. The cold-blooded reptile look is inspired by Jordan's fierce fighting instinct and its scaly texture is reminiscent of snake and alligator skin. The elephant print on the heel has been given a new coat of paint in striking Gorge Green. Red and yellow splashes of color add a fresh touch on the sole, tongue, eyelet tab and heel.
With its debut in 1988, the original Air Jordan III changed the trajectory of Michael Jordan's legendary sneaker collection just in time for his groundbreaking '88 season. Featuring exotic prints and the first visible Air element, Michael Jordan wore the AJ III for his first MVP and Defensive Player of the Year honors. The season had some challenges in store. His opponents demanded a lot from Michael Jordan, but he responded with all his strength.
