Actually, the Air Jordan 1 High is not known for being particularly unusual when it comes to wearing special patterns on the silhouette. What made the AJ 1 High so popular are the simpler, mostly two-tone colorways. The latest release, the White Cement, doesn't stand out with its flashy colors, but it uses something unusual for a Jordan 1 High, namely an elephant print on the overlays.

The gray patterns that cover the overlays on the toe box, tongue, heel and collar are borrowed from the Air Jordan 3, the first shoe Tinker Hatfield designed for Michael Jordan. The elephant print - as it's been called since 1988 - steals the show from the latest retro high OG by allowing the sleek black and white colors to take over everything from the leather base to the profile. The pattern creates a certain aged aesthetic that seems to be trending at the moment.

When can I buy the Jordan sneaker?

So far there is only relatively vague information as to when the Jordan 1 High White Cement will come. So far it is only clear that the AJ 1 High will appear, but when exactly has not yet been announced. As we have been told, however, it could be as far as February 25, 2023.
