Originally released in 2021, the "Panda" Nike Dunk Low in the classic black and white color blocking became one of the most popular shoes from Nike in the new decade. According to Brendan Dunne of Complex Sneakers, Nike Sportswear will release a new Dunk Low called the "Red Panda" Dunk Low, slated for Christmas 2023.

The shoe comes in Velvet Brown, Sanddrift and Rugged Orange. The design is a nod to the fur of the red panda, which is native to the eastern Himalayas and southwest China. The Dunk Low has a dark suede base with a matte leather overlay in a lighter tone. Other details include mesh tongues and lining on a classic two-tone rubber outsole.
